A thick-as-frosting sunset painting. I actually painted this same sky twice, right on top of itself, to make the strokes juicier and more tactile. The richness of the paint, in my mind, matches the richness of how a sunset feels in real life.

The painting is on 5x5” panel and is fitted into a shellacked, solid wood frame. The frame measures just over 6x6” and 1 3/8” deep. It can hang on the wall or sit upright on a shelf.
