Kansas Skies Spilling Blue Rain

Kansas Skies Spilling Blue Rain

Once upon a time my sister and I drove across the United States in an old stick shift pickup truck. It was 107* in Kansas one day, and our A/C was a spray bottle filled with warm water. Every swimming hole we sought along the way was dried up. Then one day: thunderstorm. Hallelujah! This painting was made from a photograph of that landscape.

5 x 5 inches, gouache on composite panel. Has a clearcoat of oil varnish. Can be propped as is or framed.

The painting comes in a clear sleeve and rigid protective mailer with tracking and insurance.
