Miniatures

When I began painting miniatures in 2009 they were blobs of enamel in some rusty brass baubles I’d found at a hardware store in Manhattan.

At the pace of a tranquilized snail my finger coordination grew, along with the muscles in my eyes. Today I’ve painted thousands of miniatures, each one painstakingly detailed.

I use Princeton Round 5/0 synthetic brushes, and 1-shot oil enamel paints, mixed with a little artist’s oil for a wider range of colors.
